please let us keep the old client or make the new one easier to run

I run the game on a potato machine, and the new client is just unbearable. i either dodge games or i barely get to pick my champion because champion select gives me terrible fps the entire time. i really don't want it have to use the new client ever, if my machine will never be able to run it, i mean, if it's possible i would like it to run a lot better than it does now for me. I'm pretty sure i can't be the only one on a complete potato, i run the game at a solid 20-30fps constantly so it's always playable, but the champion select runs worse than the game itself

IF you updated your client to the Alpha, you can always launch the Legacy Client. Right now my $2K computer heats up with the Alpha client and occasionally lags. Riot will (eventually) fix this and it (should) run like the old one. Just launch the Legacy Client for now until they fix it or force everyone over to it. But I wouldn't worry, I am positive that Riot wont release the Alpha Client until it runs as smoothly as the Legacy.

I mean, they haven't even optimized it yet. Alpha was mainly for feedback on how everything was working and a little feedback on how the interface felt and if anything seemed unclear. Now that it's in beta where everyone can run it, they'll probably start taking some steps to make it a bit nicer to computers in general.
