umm i have been 14 day banned and i agree i have been toxic but not toxic enough to be this hard ban and from what i have read if i get a report or something i will get perma ban is there any way to reset the "stuff" so i get chat restricted for toxic instead of perma ban, not saying i will still be toxic wanting chat restricted but its better than perma ban. I had this account since season 2 lulu champion spotlight, and i have all champs and a lot of skins, i want to be able to play a game without having to get reported and banned the first game without talking. So the question is, is there a way to reset the "timer" or so.

You "reset the stuff" by not be toxic for an extended period of time. Even though the bans do come with a threat of a perma ban, its usually not actually the next step. The fact that you are here calm and care that you might be perma banned suggests that its not likely to be your next punishment.

The logs you were given was only an example, punishments are generally for a pattern of behavior. So that game was likely just the final straw rather than everything you were banned for.

thanks for the reply but can you be REALLY specific cause i have no idea what im dealing with i thought i would only be chat restricted for being toxic but now i wont talk at all every game, and are u saying since i got a 2 week ban is my last straw means the next report or something means im getting perma banned or such. Also how long is the period of time of not being toxic to "reset". What will happen if i get randomly reported and get perma banned, im really hoping that you can answer all my questions cause im really worried for my account being perma banned

I was referring to the email you should have gotten about your ban that has a line saying your next ban could be permenant. Which is what I thought you were referring too.

Reports only trigger your chat being scanned for violations. So if you didn't do anything it doesn't matter who reports you.

There's no period of time. With the exception of severe things like racism and death threats punishments are for patterns of behavior. So when punishments are handed out it is often times for doing lots more minor things. Basically the system is looking for what percent of games you negative in and how negative you are in those games. So every game you play without being toxic you move more towards the clear.

I would suggest this. For the next 100 games you should be on your absolute best behavior. Ideally while still participating in chat. If you truly don't think you can stay positive and avoid confrontations then you can mute everyone and just avoid talking all together and just communicate with pings. Personally I hate this as solution since I think the social aspect is a huge part of the game but its better than the alternative.

thank for the explanation it really clears up a lot but ur saying in the 100 games i play and if i slip my mouth even once i will get perma banned and such because on the email it states further example of toxic behavior will result in closure of ur account is that a warning that my next offense is perma ban and is it possible that i can play every game without talking? and even play 100 games safely without talking next games after that will i need to play safely or can i talk peacefully without struggling with the fact that i can still get perma banned and my chat scanned for violation, is it the riot staff or random "chosen players".

Like I said, that email is a form letter sent to everyone who gets banned. Most likely even if you do slip up your next punishment likely wont be a perma ban. People who are about to get permad are almost always very obvious. Theres no hard and fast number. I chose 100 because it was high but not crazy. My hope is that somewhere along the way to trying to be perfect for 100 games you will just become mostly upstanding naturally. No one is perfect and you aren't expected to be, BUT you would do well to think of your next 100 games as a probation.

what do you mean by obvious? and does it matter if its norms or rank? also what about a minor toxic behavior like saying "sigh" and "gg" before the game is over does that cause a punishment or a gateway to it? also im really glad u were able to help me out but still am just really really worried something might just slip out and just simply get perma banned

Obvious in their attitude and the way they talk to people. They are usually raging and ranting. Complaining and blaming rather than looking for help. etc.

Minor things like early GGs can contribute to punishments for sure. You aren't going to be perma banned for that kind of thing though unless you are like spamming that kind of stuff and do in tons of games.

As far as I know ranked vs normal doesn't matter for chat infractions. Leaverbuster does treat leaving ranked games more harshly so its possible that its a factor but ive never seen anything to suggest it.
