Trying to start a league of legends team at school, but we are having a firewall issue due to the fact the the software is seeding itself. We are able to login to the client but the firewall stops us right after champion select and gives a black screen rather then the loading screen. IT tells us that it is a configuration error.
SethUnicorn2 votesI suggest you ask your schools IT or administrators to give your accounts special permissions to use league of legends (ie: set league as "allow" in the firewall settings for your accounts. )
Or allow your accounts to turn the firewall on or off
BlazeFenix1 votesThe thing is, we do have permission in the firewall. But IT can't change it as the firewall automatically blocked it after our first day using it. (Note IT did not block any internet ports and says its likely a Configuration error.) He suggests to look for league of legends downloaded and running in a public environment such as in another school network and just copy and paste their configurations.
SethUnicorn1 votesaaah that sucks! well i don't know of any other way around it then. I guess your best bet is to just do as they have suggested. Ask a friend from another school to run it for you
