Yeah, Riot needs to develop a tool to bust spam bots, or fix their client so that the bots can't keep spamming people. One time, I got 6 messages in one day from these spam bots. Now, I only accept requests from people who were in recent games or who I've talked to (say, on the forums or irl). The rest are auto-ignored. Sorry if you saw my LFP thread and didn't read it to know that you were supposed to comment first, your request is getting rejected.

This is true. A get a friend request, they send me a message and then remove me from their list.
