I don't understand how LP is awarded
On 3 game win streak in ranked, I get 22 LP that game. Then I win another and get 17. Another and I get 17 again. I thought the amount awarded went up after you keep winning. Can somebody explain this to me?

No, it has nothing to do with win streaks. It is based on:

your MMR relative to the break points that Riot has set for the division you are in. If your MMR is high for the division you'll gain more and lose less LP, and he reverse if your MMR is low for the division.

your MMR relative to the other team's adjusted MMR. While the matchmaker tries to find close matches, usually one team will have a slightly higher MMR, and there will be some variance within the teams. If you lose to better players you lose less LP, if you best better players you gain more LP, and flip those if the opponents are worse than you.
