It's understandable that you have to do maintenance on broken, or bugged champs, and that the time it takes for the champs to be fixed can vary greatly... but many of us would greatly appreciate some sort of eta on the champ being put up again (e.g. 6+ hours, or 3+ hours) so that we don't hold out to play that champ when in fact it will not be fixed till the next day.

and then they found another bug tied to it. Once they get the repro down, then they have to check all of that with all items ect. and make sure that fix doesn't make other bugs.
I don't think we've ever had a champ disabled for less than a few days come to think of it...
Edit: trust me, people get pissed easily.
