Why would u start a flame war? Both games have their perks. Calling one game suck is just plain ignorance. I played both game with great amount of time invested to both. Love both of them. Lol is quicker pace which a lot of people like. It is simple and easy to learn. Dota has a slower pace but it feels more rewarding in team fights and comebacks. Requires more focus in positioning, vision, and timing.

DotA is a pretty fun game. I'm quite bad at it, even so I still have a great time when playing. There is just so many shennanigans that you can mess around with, at least at the abysmal skill level games I play at :D

The only thing great that came out of DotA 2 was 420 Booty Wizard... That's literally it...

Nash/Dragon timers doesn't make the game better or more fun. Keeping the time hidden adds the additional layer of managing the clock. When you are notified exactly when baron will show up, both teams are demanded to show up to the pit and force a fight.

Additionally, when you know exactly when baron/rosh exists, it dictates the way you play thusly removing choice from the game. Dota changed this by having rosh spawn at a random time 8-11minutes after its last death. So you can choose to burn time by setting up on rosh at the 8 minute mark possibly wasting 3 minutes holding the pit, or you can choose to push the lane forcing the trade. This change hasn't changed the fact that rosh is a huge objective and plenty of team fights happen there.

LoL is a good game but... poor engine, poor load times, runes are bad, masteries are bad, and a bit stale at times.

"Hey look, I start a flame war and then take my idea as the only right idea, everybody else is wrong."

They're both equally fun for their own reasons dude, just relax. I honestly like League better because of the personality the game has compared to DOTA, but in the same vein I like playing DOTA for giving myself a challenge of relearning another MOBA, how the meta works, all of the mechanics of a hero/champion, etc. Both games do their own thing. The one thing that irks me about DOTA is how much RNG there is in the game, hell, they even have a character 100% designed around % chances of stuff happening. Sometimes I like slower games, sometimes I like faster games. What you like is subjective, what I like is subjective, what everybody likes is subjective. Opinions about what's better will and forever be an opinion, impossible to state as fact. So stop acting like you're right, and take points from other people that make sense.

Also, Nashor is an anagram of Roshan, it's not spelled backwards.

Why make this if you're not going to listen to others? Such a first rate troll

Haha "outdated, awkward programing..." are we talking about dota with steam support and source 2 or are we talking about riot and their adobe air client?

And what is this talk about fast paced? Dota on the pro lvl has more kills per minute than any lol game. sure there are a few examples where kills per minute are < 1, but that's not the norm.

IMO, dota is the better game subjectively. Don't bother comparing things like art style and the amount of tits and a you can see in game.

Many heroes in DOTA are retarded, 0 thinking required, super brainless rightclicking - basically all the hard carries + half the strength heroes pool.

Both games are good. Both have a flip-aspect in comparison to the other. Both games also have their downsides. Problem here is, OP is refusing to admit that both games have an adamant community, history, and strong playerbases that know that the games are entirely opposite to each-other in play. LoL is much, much more simplified, and much more fast-pace (which, sadly, does NOT always equal 'more fun'). I've never played Dota, but i've always been curious since I know a large handful of friends who play it, and they say honestly that it's enjoyable more-so with coordinated groups. League falls in the same manner -- better with friends.

Slow paced games can be exciting as well. Strategic play, whether quick or slow, is always exciting to a large fanbase. If you cannot grasp that concept (IE, the OP), you are most likely better of playing 'Hello Kitty: Island Adventure!". At least the community there understands all types of mental handicaps, and are very willing to openly accept you, no matter how emotionally, or mentally crippled you may be. They'll still care for you, even if you're a troll.

But yes. Back on topic. Both games are great. I'll probably enter the Dota era eventually and try the game out since i've got a group who's wanting me to join them, and I can definitely say that the game doesn't suck. It takes a certain mental capability to play the game without hurting yourself (Which, I can assume the OP has had these issues).

Methinks OP couldn't handle Dota, and has therefore given in to his salty-side. GG.
