This lag is getting out of hand.

I've been playing this game for almost two years now. I know, that's nowhere near as long as a lot of people around here, but I've really come to appreciate this game. It's been a vehicle for friendships to be kept alive, it's kept me entertained, it's provided a lot of needed distraction when life started sucking. I fought long and hard to just get out of bronze, and it took me way too many hours, but it was something that was worth trying for (and it felt amazing when getting to gold came in an eighth of the time it took to get to silver.)

I say this just to put into context how much it really pains me to say this, but I can't play this game anymore.

I'm tired of making other players suffer my lag. I'm tired of there not being a single reason for my game to be lagging. I'm tired of looking at my internet's speed, seeing a ping of a comfortable 26 ms, and in turn having League sit at a nice round 450 ms.

I've seen countless posts on Reddit detailing issues much the same as what I'm experiencing. This is not some isolated issue. This is desperately needing some addressing.

I don't think this is Riot's fault. I really don't. I expect that my ISP (AT&T) is really at fault here.

But regardless of who's at fault, I can't do it anymore. I'm not going to be putting myself through the torture of 45 minutes of watching all my commands get ignored/delayed. I'm sorry Riot, but until you figure out what's going on with you servers, I just can't do it anymore.

And speaking honestly here, I really hope you do figure out what's going on. I'd love to play this game again as it was meant to be played.
