Is Karthus more like Sauron or the Witch-King from Lord of the Rings or is Mordekaiser?

Who would be Sauron Mordekaiser or Karthus? Also who would be the Witch-King? I feel like Mordekaiser could be Sauron because they both use a mace as a weapon but Karthus has the Phantom Karthus Skin and looks similar to Sauron and I feel like he is more of a evil mastermind compared to Mordekaiser who would be doing things for Karthus like the Witch-King.

the problem with that Phantom Karthus skin splash art in particular is that it's actually quite outdated. If you look at the in-game model, you'd see that Karthus looks quite a bit more like Sauron than his splash shows.

Mordekaiser by far.

Edit: Karthus being a Lich has more in common with Kel'thuzad even if he has no frost magic nor minion summoning.
