My honest opinion on assassins.

Okay so before i start this i would like to say, this is for NEWER(ish) People. People who still moan groan and complain about champions such as Master Yi and Zed . I know how you feel, i am the same way. I hate these champions hate them to death and think that they are mistakes, however that is not the reason that i am posting this. You see this is to justify their existance to all my fellow low Elo summoners.

Lets first look at what these champions are. Yi, Zed, Katarina, all these champions are in the ASSASSINS class. Now what do you think of when you think of assassins? assassin's creed? Probably. However what you can also think of is the fact that Assassin's in gaming in general are usually high damage, high mobility characters. Designed that if they get hit with any hard CC they will die within seconds if they are focused. This in league had transferred over quite well, in fact I'd say that each Assassin, truly does fit in with the theme, high damage, high mobility, lots of escapes. and finally if they are caught easy to kill.

Now i know what your most likely saying, champions like akali? she as a ton of burst damage and three dashes that always seem to be up. Well yeah that's how it is. I can't go around saying that it seems fair, i mean how many times have you been bursted down by an Annie and thought "damn she just outplayed me" never most likely. But why? Why this class, why have them exist at all, or why not have them be weaker so that they can't just snowball after going bot and getting a double. Well simple. Assassins in nature are hard to balance, if you make an assassin to weak, they get the yorick effect, where a really good champ is just so underplayed that you forget he's in the game sometimes. But when they are to strong, the Meta is dominated by the champion (Remember DFG? Yeah i don't wanna either.) So finding a perfect balance is just plain impossible as they are just impossible to balance kinda like Rengar.

Now i know most people already know this, and you probably look at me as an idiot for stating the obvious. However this is just for my fellow bronze fools who don't know why a pink ward in the right spot is important. So let me finish on this, imagine if Riot did what you wanted, and nerfed all the assassin's to the point that they are unplayable. Guess who comes out to play? That's right adc's. Adcs are always strong in the late game, now imagine a mid game where THEY DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ZED, OR YASUO, OR ANYONE REALLY!!! It would literally be horrible, at least in my mind it would be. Cause i don't know about you. But i hate fed adcs i hate them so much, and without the assassins to stop them there would be no hope.

Once again i know that you all probably know this but what the hell. Someone might see this and say. "Wow he has a point" Or maybe not either way Derin Phoenix out TTFN ta ta for now
