Leaverbuster on co-op vs. AI games

Ok. I'm not going to rant right now (I just played to rant. after waiting for TWENTY MINUTES of course.) Anyway, since I'm still a noob(ish) I only play co-op games for right now. I've left games before but not very many, and last night i needed to leave, for a movie that I totally forgot about. And, guess what, I got the twenty minute thing. Anyway, my complaint is that it shouldn't be on co-op vs. AI games. Why? Well, reason 1 is that isn't the point of Co-Op to work with the team YOU have. Reason two is that when someone leaves a game it doesn't change a thing. One bot goes afk at their base. SOOOOOOOOO RIOT, PLEASE TELL US WHY WE HAVE LEAVERBUSTER ON CO-OP VS. AI GAMES HMMM?
