New LeaverBuster System - Indiscriminate

I was engaged in a match for my promos to Silver, we were winning the match quite hard when I had a power outage that lasted maybe a minute. It took about 5-7 minutes for me to connect back to the game but I did so and finished the match with a victory. I am now queuing up for games for 5 minutes at a time as "punishment" for the Canadian weather causing a power outage. I get that Riot can't verify these discrepancies and their blanket style attack is designed to get legitimate quitters, but still... It's a bit $%^& that I am being punished for something completely outside of my control, especially when I reconnected as soon as I was able and finished my match. It wouldn't be so painful if it was maybe 2-3 instead of 5 of your next games. IDK. Something should be done though because legitimate players are being punished unjustly.

I was Sup with 0/1/20, this wasn't a game I wanted to leave lmao

Wait, the problem is it takes 5 minutes to queue? Can't you just make a snack?

I prefer the indiscriminate system because it punishes both people who intentionally leave/AFK and those who fail to ensure that they/their computers can handle a long game of League. I know that it sounds harsh to a lot of people (I'm expecting to be downvoted), but I don't think that people with toasters/terrible internet connections should be allowed to ruin games whether they can afford to fix their problems or not. I understand that the new LeaverBuster system can occasionally cause problems for people who are entirely innocent, but it does far more good than harm.

Same. Was literally three minutes late to a game because of bugsplats and I get this leaverbuster thing. Everyone was okay with it, I didn't get reported, and we won the game. Leaverbuster needs to chill out.

While i really know and feel your frustration, i wish the punishment where really harder like 10000 times! Aside that particular case, if they would really punish people, you WILL NOT SEE AFK NOMORE. But they will never do... Btw i so hated it when my provider failed coupleof times and had no internet at all while in ranked:S:S
