Yes, the LP clamping problem again

Well I guess I need not to explain my situation so much as tons of people had already expressed their feelings on getting 0 lp after winning when near division 1 promo series.

So im just here to make some suggestions hopefully useful to make the league better. Can i possibly know or at least approximately know how much more wins i need to get in order to advance? I mean its quite desperate when u keep seeing yourself winning games and gets nothing. I understand how MMR and league tiers work, and i do think clamping is necessary. Its just the matter that should the league give more incentive to these struggling people by telling them how much more they need to win/achieve?

I'm sure at this point you already know WHY elo clamping occurs. It's because your mmr does not think that you belong in the next division. That being said, if you google mmr finder, you can find out whether or not you truly belong where you do, or whether or not you are being unfairly clamped. Either way, there really isn't anything you can do about it I'm afraid.

None, and i mean none, of these so called MMR finders is actually accurate as MMR is hidden completely and never sent to the client anymore

There is no way to determine exactly how many wins you need as its entirely based off of the MMR of those around you, so you might end up playing a game where the MMR of the enemy team is lower than yours and gain very little MMR, the reverse is also true, so there isn't an accurate way to say "win x more for promo"

Yeah I probably should have mentioned that the validity of these mmr finders is questionable at best, but at the same time, it's better than nothing, and sometimes you can get some encouragement from them if they seem to agree with you that you belong in a higher place. Either way, the only advice that one can really give is just play. It will be frustrating, but you'll get there
