Runes Overpriced??

Dear Riot and fellow summoners: Don't you guys think runes are overpriced, especially Tier 3 utility runes? Quints, of course, are even worse. Please tone the cost down a bit. 2050 IP for a 2% spell vamp quint is just crazy. I hope Riot makes improvements soon. Of course, if you have different feelings, feel free to share them with me. Thanks! With hope, Zielion Kalista

Zil, I totally agree, but I don't think Riot will change rune costs, much less respond to this post. Morgana item 3070 item 3070 item 3070

Price of 'starter' runes is ok IMO (500 for quint, 100 for glyphs/marks/seals) But some runes are too expensive. Like, why on earth should one une page cost over 13k IP?

BTW, there are rune sales now and then, so maybe saving for that

Later this month, 25th I think, all tier 1 runes will be deleted and tier 2 will be permanently reduced to 1 IP each and available from level 1. Tier 3 runes don't look like they will be touched which is annoying because they are the biggest IP sinks outside of new champions. The biggest offenders are quints costing 2050 and runes costing 820. It's such a massive ask if you need 9 of them as you normally do. I know there are cheaper tier 3 quints and runes but they tend to be the useless ones.

I like that runes cost enough that you have to weigh their worth, rather than just flat out buying them all, which is what eventually happens.
