Spirit Guard Udyr is like one of the best looking skins in the game, but I hate it because all it is, is a visual update for Udyr. I don't understand why I have to pay like thirty something dollars for something that should already be part of the champion. I know people have been complaining about this since the release of the skin, but I'm just angry that I have to sit here playing one of my favorite champions who has one of the ugliest models in game for the sole reason that I don't have money. Sorry I shouldn't complain because riot really does do a lot for their players and I guess I'm just jealous that I don't have it. Sorry for ranting :D

The worst thing about it is that as a result, Udyr probably won't get a new base model for years and years to come.

The thing that makes it really upsetting is that this skin isn't thematically different from his base skin. The other two ultimate skins were pretty different thematically from their normal ones.

Sona gained a more high-tech version of her normal theme, giving her the standing of a DJ. It's not too different, but you could put them side by side with their descriptions and I could definitively say which one is normal.

Pulsefire Ezreal may be closer to his original theme, but it gives so many different random features like upgrading armor, special death emotes for enemies, etc. that it's definitely okay for an ultimate skin. Plus, it's like DJ Sona in that it high-techifies the champion involved while still leaving the very base theme. Once again, you could put them side by side with their descriptions and I would be able to tell which one was normal.

But then you get Spirit Guard Udyr, who is a visually enhanced version of Udyr with better spell effects and features that could easily go onto his base skin. Seriously, all he has other than new spell effects is extra stuff when you max the ability. That's just lame. And, given a description of Udyr, I would not be able to tell which one was his base skin. I can't think of one thematic difference between this skin and his base skin, and that's just unacceptable for something this pricey.

naw you and everyone else have any right to argue about anything you want dont get the heard mentality where people think they are above everyone else just because they dont voice their opinion. Second yes its utter bullshit that the skin costs and arm and a leg when the standard model is one of the worst in the game. Goes from looking like a joke of a champion to something worth playing just off the skin alone and it really should be the base model but riots too greedy.

They did an amazing job with Udyr 's visual update, you just need to buy it....
