I was about to ask where the evidence was, but then I saw the Rioter's post. Good evidence, I'm not sure myself why everyone (or at least most people) think his name is Tamm, it sounds kind of dumb for a giant fish man.

He got the named because someone said it was roughly translated into Tamm after the leak on the chinese website
I am hoping its name is something like "Namazu" then. Namazu the King of the River. Based on Namazu the Earthshaker which was a catfish from a Japanese Myth.
