Illaoi Tentacles Help!

So after playing Illaoi on different maps I've realized I want to have more control over where my tentacles spawn at. Most of the time I am running to a specific spot waiting for the cooldown to finish instead of just farming lane or anything more important. Instead of random generation is there a way to pick where my tentacle can spawn...like Azir Turret or Bard Magical Journey. Don't get me wrong I love the random pop of a tentacle I would just like a bit more strategic ability to get it on the right part of the wall. It makes me sigh when it goes the wrong way or spawns in unhelpful ways. Thanks for the support!
