A new "NURF" buff is up in the files...

"Strategic Buff of Strategistic Strategery"

"+100% Mana and Energy consumption +200% Cooldown Inflation on Abilities, Activated Items, and Summoner Spells+50% Anti-Tenacity +225 Movement Speed Reduction +200% Delay between basic attacks Critical strikes deal 50% of total attack damage This unit deals critical strikes on 150% of its attacks Protection against superfluous decisiveness This unit is vulnerable to consequences

IF this thing is real (probably just Rito trolling us), it might be a new summoner spell for URF mode. Kind of like an Exhaust.

PS. Looks like a really poor attempt at making a new troll mode. URF was amazing. This will blow.

EDIT:

After thinking about it, it doesn't appear to be a global buff that everyone gets. I'm assuming this is something that someone gets from an event on the map or something.

I kinda hoped they'd just release URF mode again, I never got a chance to play it before, sounds fun. Ah well, NURF mode will be played for the icons/whatever there is and forgotten.

i think the buff is a great idea. now make a normal urf mode gametype and give 1 random person that buff and whoever they kill it goes on or after 5 minutes its randomly passed to the opposing team

Tanks would rule this gamemode actually. Every deals less damage but tanks are pretty much unaffected and they have the most CC. Would be interesting...

No Crits, Half Damage, Half Speed, Double Mana Usage

So Basically it effects everyone except tanks and Champs with no Mana? DrMundo Gnar Garen Katarina Mordekaiser Renekton Rengar Riven Rumble Shen Shyvana Vladimir Zac Yasuo

Those champs are all about to be really OP, either they have no mana which means they already had the sustain advantage and are now getting that advantage doubled. Or they are Tanks with built in damage so they wont rely on items while tank stats seem to be untouched and OP here. Or lastly they are champs that deal skill damage and wont be affected by the attack speed nerf and probably have mobility perks to get around the lowered movement speed.

They succeeded in making the opposite of URF, where in URF mana champs and damage dealers got buffed with cooldowns and no resource while tank stats were still untouched making tanks super trash against the onslaught of spam. Now here we have damage dealers and resource champs being sent to the trash while tanks and mana-less spam champs are nearly untouched.
