So here is a thought for riot.. why is there no compensation to LP lost with AFK's? i mean if a team member never connects and leaves you 4 v 5 the whole match then why on gods green earth should i lose LP b/c a team has an xtra person to split push with.. can we put a timer on it or something if you are down a player 10 min you lose or even half the LP you would have.. stop ppl abusing and make duo's lose full LP and keep the person who is gone still losing full AP.. its seriously getting old with games dragging out 50 min b/c some idiots are so sure you are gonna win a 4 v 5 with a jax split pushing your base while your team fighting.. as it stands the balancing and/or punishments for ranked AFKs are messed up. i believe ranked holds the exact same punishment for AFK's as norms... its bad enough ppl with really bad computers who constantly complain about lag or take 20 min to load in continue to play ranked and make ppl suffer but hey i guess that person can atleast clear a wave here and there.. Pls for the love of god do something about this for next season..

You got unlucky. Assuming you never disconnect yourself, the enemy team had a higher chance of them getting the dc. 5 chances over there vs 4 chances on your own team. Deal with it.

I agree the AFK thing messed me up big time when it came to my protion to next level and also my first few placement games I had 2 afk's and one DC. It really really sucks. Short of playing with a few people you know, your chances of getting screwed I find are pretty high.

Most of the time depending on the skill level and champ synergy, low percentage of 4v5 the underdog wins which is the team with 4 lol

especially when you get a few good fight the team with 5 completely loses focus. when 2 people afk.....that is a problem. and no LP should be lost.

when 1 leaves, it should be halved from loss of LP. but there is still a chance you could possibly win, do not give up!

Everyone that plays ranked has this issue. RIOT knows about your complaint. They are actively workin on Ranked TeamBuilder. So hold your horses until they can deploy it.
