What has happened to League?

I have been playing this game since before Season 1 and I am really disappointed with this game. I remember back in the day you would shit talk and the enemy would shit talk and all was good. I mean whats a good game with a little banter. But now if you even hint of offending someone you get muted and reported and then chat restricted. What happened to all the character in this game? Is league filled with a bunch of kids and women now? This game has really got pussified lately. What has changed in the past year? And to be frank its not only league it is just society as a whole. Everyone gets offended way too fucking easily even people on the internet.

And Riot I spent more then 2 grand on this game over the years and rito chat restricts me. I guess that's my thank you for my dedication and support.

First off... people like YOU probably deserve to be chat restricted. this is only an assumption on what content you have just put on here.

Second, no one should HAVE to deal with 'shit talking' on the internet. that is why the community was/is considered the most toxic community in the game. I'm glad that riot is starting to take the trash talking out of the game. people should be decent human beings. There are also kids who play this game, and they deserve the right to play a game where inappropriate language is not going to fly off the tongue.

Also, there is a bit of a difference between friendly banter and inappropriate banter. If you and your lane opponent are just poking fun and having a good time, that isn't a big deal. However, if you start trash talking your teammate and/or lane opponent on mistakes they made, you deserve the chat restriction.

Also, if you REALLY feel the game is that bad, feel free to leave and not play it anymore. Toxic people aren't welcome here. Sorry if this isn't the response you are looking for, but I don't think the majority of the community cares. There is a difference between having a good time and joking around and becoming toxic/rude. Understand the difference and be civil.

Good luck on the rift!

I can't believe there's actually people who enjoy being flamed at. Takes a certain level of masochism to take pleasure out of that o_o

Even if you like to recieve death threats doesn't mean everyone does. Being called a noob is rude, but most people go much further with their taunts. It's a proven fact that your team performs better if you drop the unnecessary flaming.

And yeah, there's probably a lot of kids (and women) playing the game as well...

Not going to reiterate what the other people already said correctly.

And just because you spent money on the game, it doesn't mean that you can't be punished. You could be one payment away from paying of a car loan, but if you don't get it, they'll take the car

Maybe the total amount of Social Bullying in school. Along with all of the statistics of the too young to die children and kids taking their own lives due to the stress of all the social bullying and S@*t talk banter, classified as fun and enjoyable for you, but puss-sonified from your lines of intellect definitions. No, the level of S@*t talk should not be a classified reason to lose a game, decline in elo, and quite possibly drop lower than should in Rank play Rankings of the Riot League of Legends Online Video Game.

In memory to those people I knew in my life who took their lives and self-decided to end their lives qualified as a suicide. Along with in memory to those people I have never met who have self-decided to end their lives qualified as a suicide.
