I'm with you. Dynamic Queue honestly has not affected me much. If anything, it actually made it easier for me to climb as a solo queue player because I have been feeling like I have a greater impact as a support player than ever before.

It is so weird.

Totally agree. I almost exclusively play as solo; as a supp main, my average queue times are at most 15 seconds :D Not sure if related, but since the start of DQ, people seem to be more appreciative in chat toward their friendly neighborhood Soraka

The reason people are not a fan of DQ is mostly how it displaces people too easily. It's much easier in a DQ setting to get carried up thanks to premades with communication. Hell, it's been used for boosting multiple people at once to gold+ on stream.

Another reason for its dislike is how much easier it is to be toxic. Sure, Riot said that toxicity has dropped, but more likely than not it's based off of reports. In a 4 man premade, they aren't going to report each other. Not only that, in solo you generally had, say, 1 person being toxic and it was easy to deal with. Imagine four being toxic for something you didn't even do, and able to convince the enemy team that you're the toxic one and who to report. I mean, who would the enemy team believe there. The one guy who's being called out (you), or the 4 man that is consistently saying it's you who's saying that stuff?

If we look towards the top 1%, it gets worse. To start, Riot even admitted up there that DQ is a bad idea, by limiting them to 3 man teams. They still do get absurd queue times as well, and the system made that worse. In fact, if we look at the actual LCS teams, this system didn't help them. It just looks like stomps when you see how it goes, and could ruin the practice they need.
