I have 350 solo games on fortnite, does anyone have any tips on getting a first win?

Not trying to be mean, but wouldn't the Fortnite forums (I assume they have forums) be able to give better insight then most of us?

Fortnite and PUBG are wildly different games. Same gamemode, COMPLETELY different gameplay. If you want to win in PUBG, play carefully - use sound and positioning to locate enemies, always stay in cover.
You dont win by having a high kill number. You can easily win a match with your only kill being the last competitor alive.
What you want to do is get a weapon or two - a couple hundred bullets - a scope, preferrably a silencer - ten bandages, two pain killers, 1-3 energy drinks and 3+ first aid kits and then never loot again for the rest of the match. Especially when the circle is getting small - never loot unless you are in an emergency, as you should be more than well equipped enough to win the game with what you have.
Wait for other players to reveal themselves by fighting each other. Find a good hiding spot and simply stay there until you hear fighting, then locate the combatants preferrably without exposing yourself.
PUBG is for camper, and it's harder to find a camper and kill a camper sitting inside a house that cannot be destroy
