Also they were very disappointing. They used to almost all be fantastic, this year there were like 3 that were funny.

Oh please no. I don't need any more nightmare fuel. I dunno who was so stoned out of their mind that they thought this was a good idea, but they never should have made this abomination. Manbearpig hangs his head in shame.

I'd give it to them even if they aren't that good. It allows them to spam more without managing their mana as closely, which automatically gives them power to equalize or pressure their lane. They don't have to be good to abuse it properly.

Also, not sure why you would limit giving blue to chose champions when there are so many other AP mids capped by their mana pool. Unless they have an alternate second resource or are an AD champ, they can all use it.
