I was reading the board game article on the Riot website and I stumbled upon the Merch page. And it got me thinking, what if there was a LoL boardgame?
Would you play a LoL boardgame or card game like Magic?
I would imagine there be toxic behavior in lolboard game probably even worse than that of Sorry! and Monopoly ;l...and probably Uno
I'd play a lol card game, or even better, a lol-themed tabletop game like D&D. I've already tried my hand at running a game using some of the lore of the game (before they trashed it, at least) and it went over pretty well.
Never a card game. A board game maybe.
Or better yet, D&D spin-off. Go all-out.
If done in a risk! way well why not, just don' t expect to translate every thing of lol in the game ( like creep farm and such).
If done in a Pen and paper scenario... absolutely not. In that case we need the Valoran ambientation as a whole...
I actually think that League could fit into a miniatures game like Heroscape, where you have defined terrain, and each character miniature would have it's own card with it's stats and abilities. Also, Riot could periodically release new packs of champions minis.
i could see it being a risk style board game with the different nations of valoran
well if it used a gain 1 resource each turn system like hearthstone/Infinity Wars, the assault, defend, support, system of Infinity wars, the monster/spell areas from yugioh, and card crafting like hearthstone I would play it.
hell if any card game could just do the above things i would play the shit out of it :D
Well I played D and D for the first time over the weekend. Had fun fucking with the DM. Throw some league into that and I'm in. Awarding creativity is always a plus.

I made it thinking as if it was a minigame you could play and later realized that it is almost perfect for an actual board game. Just add more teams, Expand the movement options and give each player the freedom to move around the board apart from their team. You would have a little counter with multiple scrollers. Level, HP, Mana. Cooldown and regeneration would work on a per turn basis and all the time based elements would be compacted into turn based growth stats.
It would be a grid system and you could move different amounts based on your movement speed or dash abilities. You either have to block vision from the other team, like in battle ship, or just remove the element of surprise positioning and keep it based on level damage/defense/health/item stats. The turns would work so that all players on both teams move at the same time. Seems like an excellent game for learning basic math skills. You could have cards for the champs and cards for the items, or 3D models with 6 little pegs and you actually attach little items, hahaha.
I gotta say I would play cause then u could play league without actually playing it and without any internet and u could play it anywhere and pause the game it's genius
If we're talking War Hammer based, then there is something to look after because if you think about how War Hammer is played, the way they measure the range of movement and attacks, it's kinda like how League of Legends measure the range of attacks and abilities of each champion, summoner spells like 
, and usable items like 
.
Only if they made figures of EVERY champion: I hate it when spin-off games/titles leave out your favorite characters from the original.
