People who complain about this don't realize that if Veigar wasn't able to kill the ADC in such a manner, they would proceed to simply right-click him (or something else) for free, rapid burst damage and heal right back up.

And he actually has to close the game to be able to do so.

Veigar is meant to punish you late game, much like Nasus, it shouldn't be a surprise.
