Did you at least make this one? Because quality isn't necessary, I just want to make something.

Laughing FishDec 29, 201516 votes

Umm... No I didn't. https://media.giphy.com/media/jou4Cd2mx1lGU/giphy.gif

Gif making is. . . .time consuming. But the effect it can have on people is worth it.

That's not important. All that matters is that you learned your lesson and never came back.

Well it's the memes and games section, this is a haven for clowning.

If you do not wish to clown, then leave.

CoolHandJackDec 30, 20151 votes

...What an accomplishment I guess?

EmbertineDec 30, 20151 votes

I was on GD for a while and I've never actually seen Laughing Fish there. You must be mistaking him for Jousting Fist.

Kitty DarkstarDec 30, 20152 votes

This is why nobody likes GD

LANWhaleDec 30, 20154 votes

tsk tsk Now were going to have a whale of a problem Mr. Laughing Fish.

I make GIFs all the time for friends (most online) and some for my relatives / in real life friends :)

It's not difficult most of the time, but only certain ones with heavy editing can become time consuming. If this website allowed you to wear custom Avatars, i'd be showing mine off all the time. I mostly make mine with caramel frappes in it because, well ... it's in my username lol.

Do note, most if not all GIFs I do aren't my original work. I take one, alter it and then use it. I never take credit for drawing / creating it from scratch. Altering and editing is the art of using a source and changing it into your image / ideal picture. With that said, here are some of my examples.

http://i1252.photobucket.com/albums/hh572/momvs3boys/Miia%20Purchases%20a%20Caramel%20Frappe%20Avatar%20Alternate%20Edition_zpsqqwptpe9.gif http://i1252.photobucket.com/albums/hh572/momvs3boys/MishaEnjoyingaFrappebyRyan2_zpsmqdppv1r.gif http://i1252.photobucket.com/albums/hh572/momvs3boys/Bloodborne%20Erin%20with%20Doll%20Avatar_zps5fexswmm.gif

Some are complete editing / changes like this one (took me forever, welp) http://i1252.photobucket.com/albums/hh572/momvs3boys/Starbucks%20Vi%20keeping%20watch%20of%20McDonalds%20Jinx%20GIF%20by%20Caramel%20Frappe_zpstwel0lo4.gif

So if you guys ever need help with a GIF or have questions about crafting / editing / creating GIFs or images, hit me up!

I've got a question, do you have a good, free (preferably easy) way to take a source video and convert it to a gif? The two anime clips would imply the answer is "yes", but I have to ask.

CarameI FrappeDec 31, 20152 votes

I have exactly what you're asking for ... it's what I use to convert any thing I see on screen (youtube video, GIF, animation, anything that's present on the computer screen) and record it as a .gif file with LICE.

If you have anymore questions, please do ask :)

Laughing FishDec 29, 201528 votes

I've only made a few of them. http://media1.giphy.com/media/Y4z9olnoVl5QI/giphy.gif

Shame...but they are still enjoyable regardless and you always find the perfect ones.

You've helped make these boards a fun place my friend.

What a twist!

What's next? Malicious Metal not really being into Metal? A Superb Villain actually committing acts of heroism every once in a while?

RalanrDec 30, 20151 votes

The suspense is killing me!

Laughing FishDec 30, 201524 votes

I did see Superb Villain save a baby Poro from a tree once.... http://i3.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/000/511/580/527.gif

I bet it was only to make a stew out of it later.

Hate to waste a good meal.

I found a website where you can take videos and make them into gifs for free. Now if I can't find what I'm looking for, I make it myself :p
