honestly wards are useless for me. i see them coming and i start running the moment i see them and die anyway. RIP

In that case, you need to place wards further out. It can be easy sometimes to just throw a ward into the nearest bush (especially in mid lane) but wards deeper into the river or even their jungle can help you so much more.
