I was under the impression that to differentiate between them in gifs, in case of orientation flips, that upvotes were green and downvotes were orange.

Also the gif you used gives me the impression that they are trying to shoot down the thread/post.

I get that. In most gif upvotes are green. Downvotes are red. I have seen gifs where upvotes are orange and downvotes are blue. That's why I left the caption to avoid confusion.

never seen red or blue, but i have seen some gifs that involved orange and seeing people saying those were downvotes. Thats were that came from for me.

When playing as Shen, I like to wait as the final auto attack is in flight to kill my teammate then ult them.

then you don' t manage to kill the enemy in time, the shield expires and the ally gets killed.

That's usually the worst time to do it. Sure it saves them but generally speaking your teammates will almost always be attempting to run away. Your shield will just mean they got a second shot and continue running while you're getting mispositioned by miles ahead. Ending up at bot lane T2 turret at level 6 while your top lane enemy is getting a free top turret. The 300g you saved the enemy from basically gave 750g to the entire team.

It's better to do it when you know your enemy is going to overcommit and your ally isn't showing signs of backing down (usually after any dashes/cc expire and the enemy is duking it out).

No you ban Shen , Kennen , and Akali because nijas are OP. Unfortunately you have to hope the other team bans Zed or you are still in trouble.

Pro tip: If Zed is picked (remember, ban the other 3 because ninja synergy is even more powerful than ninjas in the shadows) then you have to pick Volibear because bears beat hunters in hunter, bear, ninja. (ninja assassinates hunter, hunter shoots bear, bear mauls ninja when ninja surprises the bear; all of them beat rock, paper, and scissors because they just do)
