It's really annoying when this happens and not even with just selecting. With banning too.
Like dude, you ain't tilting anyone, just ban/pick already instead of wasting 30s each time. Hell half the time I'm browsing reddit nowadays anyway cause people are so slow...

There is a psych-out trick where you scroll through a list of champions that can play more than one role, then lock in the one you really are playing at the last second, so enemies are confused what role you are.
