There's a difference between taking as long as you need and sitting on the lock in button for 30 seconds. I don't expect everyone to lock in in 2 seconds, especially if they're distracted, but waiting when you already know your pick is just rude.

i choose my champ and junk i just don't lock it super fast because of the time i'm doing other things while playing

There is a psych-out trick where you scroll through a list of champions that can play more than one role, then lock in the one you really are playing at the last second, so enemies are confused what role you are.
