how do i turn off the mini map
its in the way and makes me cast things backwards i need to know how do I turn it off

I believe there's a setting to disable casting spells on the minimap.
why on earth would you want to turn off the mini map that is asking for death!!![zombie-brand-facepalm]
You can't unless you turn off your entire hub, something you shouldn't do.
The map is a very important tool in league of legends, allowing you to keep track of where both you allies and enemies are. Info you'll need to make good decisions in the game.
The best thing is to simply learn to play around the map, better controlling your camera movement so it doesn't get in the way which is actually a lot easier than it sounds but just don't worry, you'll get there eventually.
Just turn off the hub and health bars.
