Very true. I like that the angel is heavily armored. Too many time angels are depicted as frail beings that are basically nude. She a flying warrior for justice and purity, so I am happy they made her a badass.

Garen 's shoulders and chest are much wider than his waist, and he is certainly not female, so her having a smaller waist doesn't prove much. Sure, once you actually play Kayle and look at her model it is clear. But from the splash art or just seeing someone else choose her, it is not readily obvious.

I think what made me think she was female from the beginning was her Plume. I could have sworn that was her hair, like Zero's, who to this day I think was designed to be a woman and Capcom refused to redesign.

Thank you! I saw he said "Old Splash", and I was like............"That isn't the OLD splash...it's older...but not OLD." Her OLD splash really makes her more androgenous. And looked much better than Morgana's Shudders

I knew she was a female from the start. I seemed like the only one. People actually thought I was brain damaged before Unmasked because it was a guy. Then Unmasked came out and nobody questioned me since.

Before I started playing League, I saw Kayle and I thought "Dang, this character looks really badass and exciting" A couple months later, I got around to actually playing her. Right Click Simulator was a huge success.

It should be noted that shortly after this the Kayle mid hell began and that actually was fun while it lasted.

I remember with her old splash art haha. I was like to my lvl 30 friend (i was like lvl 3) "that guy is so cool, wait he's a guy right" and then he told me that Kayle is a female. i was so dissapointed :(

Disappointed that a character you liked the look and design of was a female? As if this somehow makes a difference? "Shit guys, it's a girl, I'm not allowed to like her anymore."
