When you don't know if the game is loading slowly, or if it crashed

It is sad to me though that this late into the game's lifespan, "am I still loading or have I crashed?" is still a common thing all LoL players have to deal with.

Then you Alt + F4 and have to wait for the game to actually start before Riot lets you reconnect...

I just look at the ping rates.

Mine is somewhere around 54 wifi, and 2 hours away my uncle gets half that...

i never have less than 75. I hate all of you....
