This is why I have a single League Youtuber who I follow just for when crap like this happens, so I can watch them be confused about everything until they finally figure it out. After watching them get past their confusion, I come out with just the facts and feel like a boss.

Buy one of the three new icons of the new weapons, it will have a box.

NOTE: You can only buy one box for each icon. Priced at : 750 IP

Go to Hextech Crafting.
Open said box. (Does not need key)
It will contain blueprints for the first strike border, 2 PROJECT: cores, and an Augment Fragment.
To unlock the first strike border for any skin, you need 7 PROJECT: cores. Getting all of the icons will give you six PROJECT: cores.
Combine 3 Augment Fragments to get an Augment Chest. Contains a skin shard, a champion shard, or a ward skins shard, 3 PROJECT: cores.

NOTE: You can only buy more Augment Chests priced at : 295 RP

A. Combine 7 PROJECT: cores to unlock the first strike border for a champion.

B. Combine 11 PROJECT: cores to get a random skin shard of the PROJECT: Overdrive event. Ex: PROJECT: Lucian, PROJECT: Master Yi, PROJECT: Leona, etc.

Explained it as best I could. Sorry, bud.
