How I feel when I lost my eraser, when I want to draw. http://media.tumblr.com/461491e3c20fcc5863ed54fa9d6358c5/tumblr_inline_msl5n8lWXz1qz4rgp.gif

I sketch a lot, so 3H is great for me
I don't really like sketching. I got this book of John Howe about sketching, but the method doesn't feel complete. I prefer the sketching part in the background for shadows, while detailed stuff are simple and easily visible.
I am horrible with a lot of detail. I always end up ruining my drawings
My backgrounds are usually really bad. I am going to try and draw a Venetian background.
My characters themselves tend to have enough details. Muscles, creases, dents in armor where applicable.
I would love to draw creases! But I'm currently trying to get better at faces and hair. Why does hair have to be such a pain?
Hair is loose strands that you try to draw as an entity. Pretty much like a tree.
I see where you are coming from, but that isn't how I draw hair. I am learning how to draw in a manga/anime style and hair in that style isn't the most fun for me. Have you ever tried drawing a full head of curls in that art style?
I do draw hair in what you call manga style. No idea what to call it to be honest. I don't draw curls... I don't like them.
My favorite form of art that I do is painting because I alter mtg art.
So I am not too concerned about drawing comics but I tried it once and, it didn't go well.
When you can't find a eraser to erase a mistake (I hate this cause I draw alot)

Idk about others but this applies to me as a memer too :p
When the only time you're good at 'drawing' is when you color in people's lineart, and even then it looks amateur.
