Blue decks are frustrating when they are built around not letting the other guy play. I mainly play primary red decks (either RG, RW, or RB. I rarely have the urge to build RU decks).

Cancel and counter spells are frustrating when I just want to play creatures.

I have a LOATHING for White decks... So much healing, exile, and destroy/exile target spells. [slayer-jinx-unamused]

Strangely I prefer Redirect/Reverberate the most... Oh, so 50 damage to me? Nah that's at yourself! Best win I ever had was using a Redirect, Reverberate, and finished with an Izzet Charm for the win.

Though my current standard deck is a UG Eldrazi with http://gatherer.wizards.com/Handlers/Image.ashx?multiverseid=402079&type=card as the BIG card in the deck... It has enough ways to exile it ain't even funny anymore. Actually wait it is funny because it even has counterspells that exile. Thank you Eldrazi! [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

My best win was forcing a blue deck to top deck for most of the game, then attack and later flinging my 10/10 abomination at him for 20 damage in one turn.

It was even better because I always lost to that guy. RB made me have a crazy blast.

I prefer aggro over exile.

I just suddenly had the mental image of the weenie rush decks pop into my mind... XD Those decks are funny. But very scary. O_o

Anyways... Yeah UR is probably my main 2 color combo and I have so much fun with instants and sorcery shenanigans, with UG and UB being my close seconds. For 3 color decks its URG primary with UBR & shudders WUB as close seconds.

I run a mono black deck.

My cards are old, and my friends hate me for it.

Cursed land deals 1 damage to them every turn, and my frozen wraith gains +X/X every turn (X is equal to how much mana I am willing to spend on it).

I ban Fiora even when I'm Zilean in the midlane, because Zilean doesn't have too many hard counters and Fiora is just a pain in the ass for everybody who isn't Pantheon to deal with.

Pantheon also counters Graves top, to a degree, which is probably why his winrate is so high lately. He counters the annoying shit.

The only reason I don't play him much anymore is because of how hard he falls off no matter what.

That and the frustration of how easy his W is to counter and I don't see much variation in build paths (I've built black cleaver so much on him that I'm sick of it).

Well, he's good if you can snowball a lane out of control and just start teamfighting at level 8 and get the Nexus in 20 minutes. Kinda why he tends to have a poor winrate against tanks, because while he may beat them down in lane, he won't get enough kills to snowball and just bulldoze the game. Alternatively, build AP, do stupid damage with your stun and your ult if you feel like being a cheeseball. They both have 100% AP ratios. Probably the best way to make him fall off a bit less would be just make his E passive do missing health damage instead of just a crit. Would let him consistently execute at all levels.

I don't like to build AP since the shield cooldown isn't great, the ult is rarely effective when used for damage, and most if not all AP items are built for late game.

A pantheon that doesn't utilize his early game is usually a failure.
