Just got done with a game where our Cho killed Baron with 6 stacks, and had Elixer of Iron active. He took Baron's spot...and waited for the enemy ashe to throw a hawkshot...Hilarity ensued.

This isn't funny. If the enemy team sent a hawk and saw this, it means they lost baron, and there is nothing funny about that, especially if this was ranked. They had no reason to laugh about losing LP.
