Nope, not even the CC. QSS can remove Suppression, but Cleanse can not.

Yeah, I think it's useful against like Veigar, Ahri, and Lux. Nobody else is coming to kind that's an absolute must to use it against.

The item you have to pick: do I want early damage to try and trade with Malzahar or do I want a defensive tool against him?

With the Summoner Spell you can have the early damage from items and a way to completely negate his ultimate.

If there was a ranged, targeted channel interrupt as a Summoner Spell, you can imagine how crazy strong it would be against so many Champions ultimates? It's the same idea with Cleanse vs Suppression ultimates.

Hasn't everyone. Sept I remember when it was patched out. Used to be when malz/urgot were picked there were 3-5 cleanse in the other team and it was a 4v5

By using Cleanse you pay nothing to remove the CCs while QSS has a price.

I mean, you don't pay a gold price, but you pay the price of a summoner spell, which is it's own risk/reward... I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying you do pay a price.

You could argue that hextech protobelt should be stronger than flash, since flash has no cost. The cost of an entire summoner spell is probably worth more than 760g. Price calculated from http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Quicksilver_Sash.

The Lexer has a good point. There's a reason why Cleanse is hardly taken, because it's less effective than a 1300 item's active, and on a longer cooldown too. Did you know that in addition to SUPPRESSIONS, QSS also removes the AIRBORNE effect too? Wowee, I didn't know that before, until I researched into this. Cleanse will not remove either of those effects.

Cleanse does however remove summoner spells such as exaust and ignite which qss does not remove. (qss may remove the slow from exaust. Not sure).

QSS and Cleanse remove the Airborne status and the Stun associated with it. That's why you can Cleanse/QSS then Flash to override any displacement.

you pay for cleanse with the CD as well as having cleanse rather than other summ spells such as ignite for kill pressure or tp for global presence.

Suppressions stop the use of abilities and Summoner Spells. Hence why summoner 1 doesn't work.

I'm actually curious about what exactly is usable while suppressed. I do know that you can dance while suppressed by Malzahar. Though I'd have to get a group of people to test out every single item with an active, and it would take some time. Though I do have some suspicions that certain item actives might not work. I'd guess that item 3152 probably won't work due to it causing movement and Suppressions don't allow that.
