There should be ranked games where you can 1v1 people and see who can become the best

I believe that general consensus on that game mode is 'whomever has Caitlyn wins.'
League is a team-based game your skill can't be determined by how you perform solo alone. how would junglers or supports duke it out in 1v1? How would people who frequent utility based champions play? This new ranked will be impossible for anyone who isn't a solo laner to play.
If this were to be a thing, it'd probably need to be similar to the 1v1/2v2 thing they did on All-Stars. Howling Abyss, first one to 100 minions or one kill wins. Having to sit through a lost 1v1 is pretty annoying in custom modes... having to sit through it in a ranked mode would be hell.
