tbh I couldn't care less if I "kill-steal" from an ADC as support. Killing the enemy buys them safety in lane to farm for free, and it's not like they didn't get the EXP or assist gold. Just because supports try to mitigate their need for gold doesn't mean they can't use it effectively. I consider it a bonus for a good day's work :)
When I support and the ADC can't secure the kills so I take them:
I main ADC on my main account... and I have something to say about this.

If my support can get the kill. DO IT. I still get assist gold, I'm still alive and I can farm...
The point everyone seems to miss. When enemy ADC is dead.. He isn't Farming, He isn't killing, and I'm pushing the lane to his turret so he can't CS that wave. So to the supports that "kill steal"...

I had a match yesterday where I somehow lucked into two double kills with
