You just cuck anything that is melee. Just push and don't get ganked.
Because not letting the enemy have fun is apparently fun.
Volibear is fun as hell, Sej with titanic is fun, Olaf with ignite is almost cheating lol, Heimer is great the enemy hates it, Shaco is fun if you know how to play him feel like pinkward, Ap Gnar is funny as hell you can literally 3 hit kill any squishy. Bruiser fizz with iceborn or triforce and full tank is hilarious.
you have lots of harass in lane and so much impact in teamfights.
Coming from 7 year veteran play, you can litteraly play anything top lane (or any other position) so long as the comp is there to compliment it, and you're certain you won't get a counter against you, most mages in top lane beat meta tops early, allowing you to roam, ad ranged champions and assassins go the same way. Ryze is now pretty capable at top since he can erase a wave in seconds and has a pretty good disengage. Just shove you'r opponent under their turret and go roaming mid. Having rune prison, it's a pretty high chance it will be a succeful gank. Have fun.

i dunno if its offmeta, but sorc shoes rush mundo top is really fun. rush boots, go spirit visage, sunfire, rylais, liandry's. just spam q, poke with q, farm with q if you need.
but as a brawler. I do nothing but play off-meta and this is one of my favorite picks, though it takes a few games to get used to the playstyle. Basically rush

The point of this build is to just be able to kite like a freaking madman as long as you can avoid hard cc, which most top laners won't have, or won't be able to get close enough to use. The slow from Glacial Augment plus Ashe's passive is debilitating, and the rage speed boosts from and are crazy. Drawback is that the build is ridiculously expensive, so I usually will take a
