What's your favorite non-meta game ever?

I'm pretty sure that we've all had games where people played weird positions, and at least one game where we play a weird position. Sometimes they even work. There was one game pretty recently where I played Twitch in the jungle, because the pick chat was chaos. I thought I was doing ADC, but apparently I was our jungler. Then, the person who called ADC, yelled at me because he was our jungler. Anyway, I made him still play ADC because he didn't have smite. I know that Twitch used to be a jungler, but if you were unaware, he doesn't work quite as well in that position now. I got First Blood that game, didn't feed too hard, and had a fed Darius on my team, so we ended up winning. I'd love to hear stories of crazy, unexpected picks that you guys had, that somehow worked.

Evelynn Support. It was pretty tough early game because I was against Sona and the trades hurt, but I'd stealth off to the side and hit the ADC when Sona's Q was down, and until then they'd never know if I went roaming or not. My teamfighting was basically preventing them from following engages (by harassing their back line) and once I got Rylai's I could stop any of them from escaping or chasing.

The constant running in and out made it the most engaging match I've ever had. A better opponent could neutralize her more easily though.

They reworked Soraka... but back when she gave people mana.

We played Soraka Nami mid lane.

Shen top lane and Kayle bot lane and Twitch / Tryndamere jungle. We were a four man and the random had jungle.

In Season 4, we had a game where a mistake in communication lead to two players locking in supports (in this case, Blitzcrank and Thresh). We'd already had our top, mid and ADC picked so that meant that one of them (in this case Thresh) was our jungler.

I was our top-laner that game and Thresh started top-side, so I made sure to give him a very strong leash to ensure he could survive the initial clear. At level 2 (after clearing his buff), he came top and we got an early kill on my lane opponent. Afterwards, every lane snowballed and he got a few more successful ganks, so we ended up stomping the enemy team.

Everyone was really helpful and positive that game, so it was fantastic.

Last season, I played two games as Varus ADC in which I had an unconventional support (in this case, Katarina and Talon). Between their burst damage and my poke/lockdown, we managed to stomp both games and snowball bottom lane.

They both bought a Gold-Generation Item and Sightstone, so they fulfilled their role as far as I am concerned.

Back In Season 5, I had a lot of jollies playing Support Movespeed Shaco

I kinda stopped when they took out Twin Shadows and put its effect on Frost Queen's. Admittedly, Frost Queen's old effect was virtually worthless, but I still miss the old item.

Back in Season 5 I had loads of fun with full tank Fiddlesticks jungle. Cinderhulk gave you pretty nice clear speeds without having to worry about mana much, while being able to max fear first offered so much utility early on.

I had one game in particular where I got farmed up a lot with a few kills and a lot of assists and no one on the enemy team could actually kill me between my CC and Drain to the point where the enemy team actually complained about being unable to kill me.

It doesn't sound particularly good, but my results actually came out particularly good. I currently still have a 100% win ratio with a full tank Fiddlesticks build even after trying it once or twice in season 6.

That one completely sideways game: Zed top LeeSin mid MasterYi adc XinZhao support and me Soraka Jungle.

Bot was feeding in lane but then I got six, no one died after that.

Details are foggy, but I once played a game with Pantheon "support"

Got the wards then built ad and became hell for the enemy :-)

I've had great fun supporting mages bot. My favourite was a Syndra, she harrassed the enemy adc so much he couldn't farm at all.
