And so my TK main friend proceeds to eat the Cannon, spit it out of Spoils range, then use Spoils stacks on ranged minons when there are melee ones nearby.

My priority list of execute targets are: Cannon > Melee > Caster

Ordered according to how much gold they give.

I've had platinum players burn abilities to take siege minions as I'm going for them. It's either they're straight up trolling or don't have a basic understanding of support items, both scenarios are really pathetic.

I love that they never notice that they GOT the gold from the cannon minion even though they didn't kill it. Like... How do you notice that you didn't get a minion, but you DON'T notice that you got gold from doing nothing?

That's why I stopped playing tanky support champions (Leona, Braum, Thresh, Blitzcrank), as the gold share/heal was a required explanation which I eventually got fed up with giving.

And so I turned to utility/healer mages instead (Nami, Janna, Bard), just to get away from that problem.

This would be a good suggestion, except for one thing. Some people can't play tanks. Others can't play squishies(like me). But yes they should at least get a taste of the other role in their lane.

I should have clarified that a little bit. Some people (adcs) can't play tanks because they are used to playing adcs and killing things. Others (the supports) can't play squishies. Sorry for not making that clear in the first place.

I play support all the time and can't play squishies (with the exception of lux and soraka, both of whom I can play and not die in. Mostly. Soraka is iffy for me).

Leona Nautilus Alistar are tanky enough that I just get into a fight and stay in a fight.

That's only when you're the enemy. When you're a Blitzcrank desperately trying to fling yourself to consume your spoils on minions, those 20 or so seconds become a lifetime.

if the adc is a dick, i'll just smite cannons. -% summoner cd mastery. Smite is up every other wave (right on time).

Always smitecrank. Why? 1. you can ward enemies first buff (bot) while they are completing their first camp, pull at 500 health, smite, aa. 2. in lane you can q through a minion and smite it if their adc is just standing behind one. Really easy to pull off. 3. late game, having an extra smite is very underrated. 4. if your adc is a skillshot magnet, you'll probably want exhaust (aka solo q).
