I enjoy both Riven and Zed. They're tons of fun to play, but I hate where they stand balance wise.

Riven's AD scaling shield is stupid.

Zed's infinite range on ult shadow is stupid too.

They would make a nice stupid couple.

Sometimes I like bringing out Garen Mid to counter combo champs such as zed/leblanc in either lane or teamfights. Much more fun than top lane because you get to go bot without pushing the wave and missing a lot of cs.

Let's be honest here. I Know a lot of you simply do not like CertainlyT because his champions are overloaded, but all of his champions are indeed fun to play with. There are only a few champions that aren't CertainlyT's that can actually share the ''Cool Club'' with Zed Yasuo Zyra Thresh Kalista Darius and those are Vayne Draven Elise and Azir simply because CertainlyT's champions looks like they are from completely different dimension comparing to other champions.

It's not JUST that they're overloaded, and if you know why a lot of us don't like him or his champions I think you can fill in all of the blanks for why else that is.

Are his champions fun to play as? Yeah okay some are, but are they fun to play against? I guess if you're a CertainlyT fanboy or a masochist they would be.

Why do you have to be such a dick and call me a ''Fanboy or a masochist''? If I have stated that CertainlyT champions are fun as hell that's damn true because they fucking ARE FUN but that doesn't means that I am playing ANY of those. My mains are Vayne, Draven and Lucian and none of those is made by CertainlyT.

CertainlyT is genius, his champions are masterpieces and no one can deny that. Problem with all of you is that you think that it's champion's designers fault if champion ends up being OP. Nope, nope and nope CHAMPION DESIGNER is not the same as BALANCE DESIGNER.

CertailnyT made ZED, definitely one of the most fun champions in game by far, but it's not his fault that Zed can kill an ADC with WEQ after he gets 3rd item :) Zed is supposed to be an ultimate reliant high burst damage assassin and he is that according to his kit but NUMBERS BOY...NUMBERS are problem!

Well, I mean.... CertainlyT has great ideas, but the kits are still overloaded. They could give all the champions from him a little bit more balance in terms of numbers if he was just limited on how many things he could stuff in there. Like if he was given a co-designer that made half the kit, and took off random passives from other abilities.

I agree that there are a few things those champions do not need. Zed's passive should NOT affect minions, Kalista's Rend should NOT slow on top of that much kite from her passive, etc, etc.

But honestly his champions vs other designer champions are like Ferrari F430 Spider vs Fiat 500 (old)

I've yet to see a Riven beat a good Braum in top lane. A lot of times, Braum just gets first blood; since he basically ignores her lvl 1 cheese.

Braum doesn't normally win lane, unless his lane opponent over commits. His role when top is to stall out the lane and basically deny snowball champs any sort of progression. Since his greatest attribute is the ability to soak up "tons of damage" and not die.

EDIT: Sadly, the last 2 times I ran with this, I wound up facing Nasus. Sure, neither of them ever die (or reach half health for that matter), but he can't really stop Nasus from farming his Q stacks.

But riven can hella bait his shield, and blow him up level 3 no? He doesn't have good auto speed, so riven can auto q auto q auto q auto w and if Braum has 2-3 stacks, riven can e to juke his q then auto ignite for kill level 3? Maybe it's just me being biased cus riven, but I can't see Braum getting in 4 stacks on riven with her cc disrupting him .-.

Braum's shield lets him ignore unit collision, so he can just weave through the minion wave to disrupt her AA's. His shield duration is also 4 seconds; while riven has a max gap of 4 seconds between Q's. So if timed correctly, he'll wall at least 2 of them (his wall reduces incoming damage by 30% at rank 1 and completely ignores the first instance). And even with her CC chain, you still have to be in AA range to use any of her abilities. If you use your dashes to avoid stacks, you're giving him a window to disengage.

Again. I never see Braum win lane, unless his opponent plays recklessly. But that's not his job. His goal as a top laner is to simply be an immovable object. He doesn't die, he doesn't loose tower, and he counter-roams.

Similar to when people run Lulu top. She doesn't have to win lane to be effective. She just has to soak up solo-lane gold and experience. Shutting down her opponent is a bonus.

if people quit complaining about champions and learned how and who to play against them thatd be great. Zed tends to be weak when you get qss and exaust as a sum spell, he is also weak to long range mages or a tanky mid laner. Riven is a snowbally champion that deals 100% damage as physical(that means armor reduces it) Cloth + 5 Pots to start and a second cloth on first back will prevent you from losing most trades. As soon as you have 1-2 armor items she can no longer trade with you unless you have already screwed up and allowed her to eat you.

As a riven main i can say that i play off of mistakes, so where you overextend or do anything that puts the fights odd in my favor i immediately react and i will probably kill you. You just have to see where you made that mistake and fix it.

Exactly. I used to always lose to Fizz. I kept claiming he was overpowered, broken, etc. But as soon as I stopped doing that and actually studied the champions exact strengths and weaknesses, Fizz became very beatable. Once you accept that you cannot beat a champion, you never will.
