It's referencing the massive HP regen from all of the items, then warmogs kicking in. 42 being the starting point because of the hitchhiker's reference.

Actually 42 was the starting point because that is the hp regen in combat flying off of Heimi's body. The references to the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy were actually pure coincidence.
