Do you know what a gold advantage is? An even teamfight will always have the team with the gold advantage winning, unless you pull something crazy off like Amumu Sion Sejuani stunning all 5 or some shit like that.

If you are far behind during early and mid game, then 95% chance you will lose teamfights in the later stages, which is why people either opt to splitpush or surrender. I don't blame them, the game isn't enjoyable if you're playing on tilt.

ive played too many games where the other team is in my base and one person makes a mistake and we ace them and win. never surrender. gold advantage don't mean you will never make a mistake.

Had a game where I was pretty far ahead of eveyone on Vlad and my team just all of a sudden surrendered, was super confused about that one, especially considering how hard Vlad scales.

There are some people who are just quitters. They are just selfish and see it as "man I lost lane so the game is over now" and want to give up. This happened to me in a ranked game back when Alistar got his headbutt punch removed. The Alistar went top and lost lane and said it was because the jungler didn't gank. Meanwhile the jungler went to both mid AND bot(I was ADC) and got both me and mid super fed and the guy at top STILL wants to FF because he said it was GG because jungler doesn't gank. Another reason I can see it being ignorance, that they don't know that if they can hold out(if their champions allow it) that they can actually win the game.

One thing I do, though, which is kind of bad is that I will start a surrender vote after our team does INCREDIBLY stupid things like pushing without wards or not grouping or just playing poorly. Usually the people don't vote yes along with me, but I just start the vote because I don't really feel like playing for an additional 10-20 minutes with those players anymore and I'd much rather start with a new game.

Have had many times where the game was a 4v4 because both teams had an afk, so the score was about even.

Then 30 minutes in we see that their AFK reconnected while ours is still nowhere to be found.

So we surrender.

Was matched with 4 premades. We were like 25 kills ahead, everone fed and we'd pushed the enemy team down to middle inhibitor. All in all game was REALLY REALLY one sided. They decided to surrender because ONE of them was on an internet-cafe(a place filled with computers devoid to gaming where you can pay money to get playtime)and had like 5 minutes worth of credits left for playtime.

Wow. I've had games where we had so much fun playing and were so far ahead where we surrender to the enemy team right before destroying their nexus. It's loads of fun. In normal games that is.

I had 420 stacks as Nasus at 20 mins and team surrendered... I was so mad. Granted I only had one kill but D-Cane was just getting started.

Come on though, if the enemy team is up 4 dragons, your team hasn't taken a single tower, you're missing all but your bot lane towers, and your top and mid inhibs are down, AND you your team got aced twice, there's no way you're winning. You'd have to be up against the slowest team ever, back door them, while your entire team defends, if they can, and then possibly win. Which isn't likely.

It isn't likely, but it also isn't impossible. There might be a 99% chance you would lose that game, but there is a 100% chance you lose the game you surrender.

Yeah, I don't really want to continue playing a game that I KNOW is hopeless. After a while you can usually tell what could be a win or lose and if we havent taken any towers by minute 30-40 and everyone has passed their power spikes, just know I'm surrendering.

if you can hang on long enough, none of that will matter. Doesn't matter how far ahead they are 50-60 minutes into a game. Whoever gets that one good teamfight will win.

And i have seen and done comebacks from that point , even worse, without towers and 2 inhi downs after losing almost every single teamfight and dragons and we have won. (before u ask: Veigar oneshoting overconfident carrys makes for good comeback material). That beign said, no1 ever talked shit that game, and that my friend is key to comeback, the moment my team starts flaming i lose hope really fast and i want to surrender. But when they dont? ITS TIME TO FIGHT TO THE END!.

I hate when someone in the enemy team is extremely fed and when it takes 4 persons to take that one guy down you know there something wrong with our team and we must surrender yet they don't.

I had a great last stand with Azir not too long ago. Holding Mid lane with only a tooth for ~15 minutes 1v3. Meanwhile, their Top and ADC kept pushing their own lanes and racking up kills like candy on Easter.

I died with ~8k gold (since I was never able to back). It took them less than 5 minutes to drop both turrets, the inhib, and the Nexus once I went down. (I'm fairly certain they were just stalling up to that point. the other 2 lanes were gone.)
