That mentality is very common among the people you run into, which is why I just can't play nemesis draft outside a 5 man.
Summoner 1 "Hey, lets give them nothing but kiteable damage of one source, so we can easily keep our distance and stack resists on any tanks we get"
Summoner 2 "wtf thats a horrible idea. Give em nothing but supports, they will deal NO damage"

Clearly the correct strategy in Nemesis draft is to give everyone the 10/10 difficulty champions and smash them into the ground when they can't land a single skill shot.
I'm a little bored of playing 5 v 5 supports every game
I'm pretty sure Yorick and Nunu need to be removed from the game if supports are only getting nerfs
