Tremors spread across the community as they learned about the new Praetorian skin line, fearing it would be inspired by ancient Roman culture. "There is only so much we as a community can accept before getting fed up," a fan explained. "Pantheon served as a fine variation to the roster, but the trope was definitely getting worn out when Mythic Cassiopeia landed."

Things definitely took a turn for the better however, as Riot revealed the skins to the community. "I was thrilled!" proclaimed a fan. "For all these years us robot fans had to accept only choosing between Mecha, Battlecast, Full Metal, Hextech, Project, Program, Battle Boss, Pulsefire, Eternum or Blitzcrank, and some of those lines even include cyborg skins. It has all quite frankly been lacking." A rioter revealed that the excitement was present also at the Riot HQ: "We didn't think they could do it. We didn't think the skins department could take something so unoriginal and boring and turn it into something so innovative and novel! Truly a paragon of creativity."

The praise hasn't been entirely unanimous, as a few players have expressed their discontent. "I was initially one of the few happy to see a skin line based on ancient Rome, seeing my passion for ancient history," a male dissenter said, "but an enlightened member of the boards revealed to me that this was in fact my homosexual desires for seeing Fiddlesticks with a six-pack and sexy, muscular legs controlling my feelings."

Upon being asked whether they would consider further expanding upon the skin line, Riot was a bit ambiguous. "I don't know, we definitely don't want to leave it at this, but we're currently also juggling a great lot of projects at the same time. We did just expand upon our other entirely unique skin line, Program. In addition, all our resources are currently committed to reworking Yasuo's passive so he can reliably proc our brand new rune, Shield Bash, whenever he feels like it."
