Ahh, Top-lane. Lone Wolf territory, where except for a few skirmishes here and there, the two brawlers get along pretty fine. That's how it is when I go top, anyway.
An example from a past game...
(My opponent) 
: Hey, do you think we should go down bot? Apparently, there's some big 4V4 action happening.
(Me) 
: Ehh, maybe after this next wave.
: You're right. By the time our 
channels finish it'll be over.
: Yup, and then that's a waste of a perfectly good .
Both continue to farm unimpeded by one another
