Its not the 1st time Riot give us false hope:
- Players ask for the
rework since 2011, 4 years later, nothing :/ Btw, Yorick is BANNED from the free champ rotation since season 3 (since 2012, 3 years now) and look like he stay banned for the season 6 and 7 too :) - Same for
, banned from free champ rotation since season 3, and they are "trying" to rework her since 2013 
For warwick, they know he need a rework since 2012-2013 But he is not on the "rework list" for the next years...
And all those forgotten champs that need a visual update but will not receive one because of their price RP/IP too low: 
They said the same thing about Taric's rework

It's been a long time since I've heard any Rioter say that they were "soon". But seeing Urgot's recent resurgence, I expect that Yorick's is a higher priority of the two.
While we're talking about reworks, remember when Warwick's was talked about for like a week?
Man yorwick needs a rework so bad. He's the worst designed champ in the game.
