At the very least it gives people chat restricts. I have a friend that gets them all the time. They also get ranked restrictions for a certain number of games. Once you get punished once you are basically on probation and the next punishment comes much much easier and for much less. As long as you only send legitimate reports and actually take the time to type in the box what they did then reports can actually do something.

You must understand something. I don't want to have to mute people, but when a person is constantly flaming and being a dick I get mad about it. I shouldn't, but I feel a compulsion to defend myself. But that is counterproductive since flamers like yourself don't listen to reason you just want to vent and blame other people. Moreover, even if I mute then the rest of the team can still hear your useless drivel that does nothing but bring down the team.

Thus, to enjoy the game more and to increase my chances of winning, reporting is logical since it weeds out the assholes that can't accept responsibility for their mistakes or keep their trap shut about their own team mates. Also, your example is different because you would never have the nerve to say the shit you say in chat if I were there in person. If you are a dick to everyone in a game why would you expect them to give you even a shred of respect or compassion?

Your comment reminds of someone that constantly makes terrible choices but still bitches about the consequences.

I mostly report if they say multiple cuss words TOWARDS someone on our team or theirs or if teammates feeds and then says they are leaving, if they do afk. If they say things like "wow u retrd" or stuff like "u suk ur a homo" I will report for that too. If the sentence sounds rude towards a person, I will report.

Sometimes teammate playfully calls an enemy "lol you lil btch" because they took their buff. I find that ok. (I mean not ok that they took the buff but like what they said. Not as terrible.)

I like to write a detailed description to what happened in my report.

JUSTICE! Whether we win or lose. Any map, any mode.

I'll be watching you....Maybe. But yasss I like that gif lol!

If I have a crappy player or toxic player I talk shit is either when its a sure loss like evrey lane loss and they have better communication or at the very end of a game I won so I can say how bad they are. I keep pretty quiet in between so they dont start feeding or go afk.

I was Sion and the enemy Teemo was insulting me the whole game. He was 5/1 and I was 2/3. I had enough of his crap and murdered him. Throughout the whole game I targeted him. Ending with 15/4. Don't mess with Sion.
